Crashman
I know there are many topics about "NVS 140m not working". I've read on different websites, I've tried the most available injectors or possible solutions. What I really know: At the moment, almost no one has this card working with QE. There are some people working to find a solution. I can imagine, that the people who could really help us, don't have a laptop with this type of gfx card. Maybe we should bundle all available information in one thread and work together to find a solution. My question is: WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? My actual anser: NVS 140m has no own Bios, it uses the system bios and we cannot get the values we need? Is that right? kytzu
BIOS is indeed a problem (can't be read or edited). Another problem is that OSX detects the card with 32 MB NVram. If we fix this issue there is a big chance to have it functional. kytzu
True, if bios would let you change anything. Accessing Lenovo's video ram is impossible (read, edit or whatever else), coldn't even disable turbo cache on it, the only solution I see is to write to IBM and ask them to do smthg in BIOS to make card detectable by OSX (video card ROM is hidden somhere in BIOS ROM at an unusal adress).
