rimmi2002 Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 Hi I am wanted to test out the Boot-132 install via the Retail-Leopard DVD. I have am image of the Leoard DVD and have heard of some people installing the image from an HD. How would I do this. Would I simply extract the image to a FAT32 HD and then when the install screen comes up direct it to that point? I am currently running Kalway 10.5.2 DVD and I am using the Chain0 method to dual boot. Can I use same method once I replace my Kalyway installation or would I have to do something different? My other OS is windows XP. Any help would be very appreciated. My biggest fear is installing the leopard and loosing my windows booting ability or messing up the MBR...this has happened to me before and I don't really have the time right now to go back and fix it all.
