Diablo II - PC version on osx?

anyway to install this like most other pc games that can be installed for osx? I found the OSX native installer and created a copy of my pc disc and named it Diablo II Install Disc, but it just ejects it. Was their ever a demo for the mac version of this game? I can only find a pc version on their site. Thanks.

I believe there's an OSX version on the website. At least the updates are both windows and OSX compatible. It works great as of version 1.12 which was recently released.

I read that you can download the hybrid version if you purchased the original Diablo II game.

there is an installer which read the files to get installation on Mac, I think it can work in D2 PC CDs

take a look at your disc's.

if it says mac os compatible, google for diablo 2 installer os x

 

if it doesn't ... download a the latest diablo 2 disc set... since u have the original key it might be ok

Yep. I have a legit CD-Key but lost my CD's a long time ago so I just obtain them from a special place when I need them
