Lucifire.Luke
Hi All, As the title of the post suggests, being a newbie i am not able to understand how to or safely remove the application once installed. For example i tested the Black magic decklink card on my system and tried to install the software for it that was necessary for it now when it did not work i replaced it to the actual system it was present on. But now i wanted to remove the software that i had installed on this machine of mine so did not understand what to do. Please help regarding the same. Considering i am a newbie on this. Poco
Go into finder and on the left side there is Applications click there and then find the app you want to delete and drag to the garbage. Drivers are located in the System/Library/Extensions folder look there for a black magic kext and delete it. iPoco Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117442-how-to-safely-remove-an-application-once-installed/#findComment-831949 Share on other sites

Sheppy1
Yes, to remove any other applications such as the one you mentioned simply drag the icon from the applications folder into the recycle bin and then empty the recycle bin by right clicking on it and selecting the appropriate option Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117442-how-to-safely-remove-an-application-once-installed/#findComment-831991 Share on other sites
