kiu777 Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 Das Problem mit einem Asus P5K-SE Board mit 3 Festplatten dran unter 10.5.4 ist, dass sich nach (fast) jedem neuen Start die Zuordnung von Platte und Disknummern ändert. Meine Boot-Platte bzw. Partition mit Namen Mac hat also einmal die Bezeichnung disk2s2, beim nächsten mal disk0s2 und dann wieder disk1s2. Die Reihenfolge ist absolut zufällig und da ist keine Logik drin. Hat jemand eine nette Idee, was man da so machen könnte? Die Sache stört, da die Starts von VMware deshalb oft daneben gehen. Edit: Was geholfen hat: Der "p5kvm-installer". Nach diesem Zip-File googeln und dann das kext "SATA ICH9 AHCI_10.5.3 Only" installieren. Seit dem entsprechen die Plattenbezeichnungen exakt den Steckplatzen der Schnittstellen und sie ändern sind nicht mehr. Dank an aspirina750! JoeyKing Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 ich habe haarscharf das gleiche problem, allerdings mit einem gigabyte P35-DS4 und 4 platten unter 10.5.3. bin mal gespannt, ob jemand ne Erklärung findet. Da sind die Disknummern starr an die SATA-Slots gekoppelt. Also muss es prinzipiell zu fixen sein. Das kann ich beantworten ohne es auszuprobieren: Dann hat die einzige Platte bzw. die Bootpartition drauf immer die Bezeichnung disk0s2. Das Problem tritt nur bei mehreren Platten auf. Ich kann mir deshalb sicher sein, weil ich mal 4 Platten dran hatte und dann ging der Zufall bis disk3. Mit drei Platten aber nur bis disk2. Also wird es mit einer Platte auch nur bis disk0 gehen können. KaltWeiss Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 ich hatte das problem kurzzeitig, hab alle platten raus gehauen und mit -f gestartet, dann aus, platten ran und normal gestartet, problem war weg. war amd@nforce4, keine ahnung warum das so war/danach weg war.
