vbetts
Is there a way to mount the iso to a virtual drive, then boot it up when starting the computer? Or is there an iso to download to boot up the Mac OS X X86 iso? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11705-mac-os-x-x86-help-again/ Share on other sites
rohde
There's an ISO you can download and burn to a DVD and install from. You can also mount the iso to a virtual drive via Daemon Tools and then install onto a physical harddrive by way of vmWare. For the latter technique see the thread on a native install via vmware in the install forum. vbetts
I know I can mount it with the Daemon tools, but can the Daemon Tools when starting up the PC be seen during boot up stage of the PC? No it cannot. But you can install it on a physical drive in vmWare from a Daemon Tool mounted drive. That way when you reboot from the appropriate HD OS X starts up.
