x0redaht0x
I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ and I'm only changing my motherboard, processor, and video card when I upgrade because I have DDR2 memory in my current system. I was wondering if the parts below are compatible with hackintosh? mac_cute
I do not see any problem:you can even make a 'vanilla' install. You need at least 10.5.3 to make your video card work properly. mac_cute
What do I need to do to make it work? Nothing special. If you are installing 10.5.2 or a previous version, just update at least to 10.5.3. x0redaht0x
Am I going to have trouble with audio, ethernet, or usb? Also, I installed leo4allv3 on a friend's computer with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, NVIDIA Geforce 8600GTS and Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R Intel G33 Motherboard and I was able to update to 10.5.3 using Kalyway's update and then I was able to run software updates to get 10.5.4. I also had to run re-install the graphics drivers after updating to 10.5.3 but other than that, it was perfect and usb/ethernet/audio worked. I basically want to have OS X running on my system as good as this computer and I want to be able to do video editing with all the software I have for OS X like Final Cut and iMovie.
