  1. iATKOS v4i experiences

I suggest you use SATA DVD-RW for booting this and don't use onboard video either.
  2. Every distro of linux I've tested on all my computers works OBB and OS X works OBB for me with the leoallv3 installer if I have my old 3com card in the computer.
  3. Ethernet Problem

I have the same problem, just buy a cheap 10 dollar d-link or 3com card and you're set, although you'll have to configure it the 1st time you use hackintosh.
  4. I got Leo4allv3 10.5.2 working on my AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7GHz except the onboard LAN so I stuck an old 3com card that was laying around and internet works. Also, Kalyway will NOT boot properly at all. Also, in the install summary, I clicked on customize and choose everything for chipsets, audio, network, and nvidia to be safe. My Specs are Foxconn N570SM2AA Motherboard AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7GHz with Kernel 9.2.2 Onboard Audio: Realtek ALC882H - Works OOB and my mic works too. JMicron IDE: Works OOB ( Except Booting from the installer DVD ) USB: Works. Firewire: Not tested. eSATA: Not tested. Parallel: Not tested. Onboard LAN: Not working at all and I couldn't fix a working patch so I use an old 3com card and it works just as good as this would. SATA: Works. eVGA NVIDIA Geforce 8500GT GDDR2 256MB - Works. Everything is working and I also have Final Cut Express 4 working great as well. I want to update to 10.5.4 without crashing my system and having everything work right. What's a good AMD updater to 10.5.3 for leo4allv3?
  5. I think I'm going to go with this motherboard instead. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131284 Is this going to work?
  6. Am I going to have trouble with audio, ethernet, or usb? Also, I installed leo4allv3 on a friend's computer with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, NVIDIA Geforce 8600GTS and Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R Intel G33 Motherboard and I was able to update to 10.5.3 using Kalyway's update and then I was able to run software updates to get 10.5.4. I also had to run re-install the graphics drivers after updating to 10.5.3 but other than that, it was perfect and usb/ethernet/audio worked. I basically want to have OS X running on my system as good as this computer and I want to be able to do video editing with all the software I have for OS X like Final Cut and iMovie.
  7. Are you trying to tell me this just works without me tweaking?
  8. What do I need to do to make it work?
  9. I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ and I'm only changing my motherboard, processor, and video card when I upgrade because I have DDR2 memory in my current system. I was wondering if the parts below are compatible with hackintosh? Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131219 Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115018 ( I have a Thermaltake Cooler that I'm going to put on this processor. ) Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814150287 DVD-RW: Samsung SATA Dual Layer DVD-RW HDD: Seagate 120GB IDE Hard Drive ( I've used this hard drive on my past three systems. )
  10. Go with a NVIDIA Geforce 8400GS if you're on a low budget. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...eforce%2b8400gs
  11. My luck with Uphuck 1.3.

I searched the wiki and the forum and all I have found is my onboard ethernet works.
  12. Hi, I have just downloaded Uphuck 1.3 and am trying to get it to boot up property. These are my computer specs. AOpen AK86-L Socket 754 Motherboard AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2GHz XFX nVidia Geforce 7600GS GDDR2 256MB Corsair 1GB PC3200 RAM SuperTalent 512MB PC3200 RAM Lite-On 16x Dual Layer DVD Burner Seagate 120GB 7200RPM Hard Drive Western Digital 320GB 7200RPM Hard Drive I tried booting it up on my computer and it just stays there forever waiting for the root device and in VMware, it just crashes before it even gets to the installer, what am I doing wrong? FYI, I tried MacOS X 1.4.8 JaS and had the exact same problems.
