i just installed this on a dell vostro 1500 how can i get my battery meter

For your battery icon in the top bar use this:

(I`ts the kext for Leopard, battery definitions work.)

Place it in System>Library>System configuration (Delete the old bundle first, "replace" will not work!), then reboot, at login go to energy settings and mark "Place the battery icon in top bar", adjust sleep and screensaver settings for battery and power adapter and enjoy:)

Good luck!

PowerManagement.bundle.zip

Doesn't work for me :)

It`s very strange that it didnt work for you, are you sure that you have followed every step? Have you gone to system preferences>energy saver>options and mark the "show battery status in menu bar" option? It should work...

Ps: You cant install this bundle with Kext Helper, if you do this it will not work because it will be placed in the "extensions" folder, not in "System configuration" were it is supposed to be, and dont forget to delete the old bundle before you place the new one, if you do "replace" it will keep the old bundle instead, and doing this it will not work.

I have the same problem it does not work. I followed the instructions as per document.

I removed the bundle using the terminal shell and copied the the power management bundle as suggested - rebooted but nothing. Do you have to rebuild kext file?
