JustinAiken Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 My audio was working fine under Leo4All V3, but after installing the updates, I now have no sound... I've tried a couple of different things, and have had no luck at all This is the last thing I need to make my Hackintosh fully up to date and 100 percent working (My motherboard is an Abit IP35 Pro btw) EDIT - I don't need input or optical or digital out... just analog out is all I need... JustinAiken Posted July 23, 2008 Author Share Posted July 23, 2008 I just dropped http://psykopat.free.fr/apple/AppleHDA/realtek/ALC888-a.txt onto Taruga's patcher, restarted, and it worked (at least stereo out, which is all I need/have)... if I go to the System Profiler, and click on Audio (Built In), it still says I don't have any installed, but if I go to the sounds, it's there, and music comes out of iTunes. Still, whenever I open Garageband, it tells me there's a conflict between audio devices... from my experiments before...
