I have an eMachines T2596 Desktop Intel Celeron 2.8 Ghz (Socket 478) 256 Mb DDR SDRAM Intel 845 GL Chipset Everything else in the chipset works, only the video is having problems. You may need to flash that bios with a new un-crippled version from pheonix. doot Posted March 13, 2006 Share Posted March 13, 2006 I had the same problem. Going from 1mb to 8mb in the bios didn't do anything in versions beyond 10.4.1. I'm currently running 10.4.5 on a PCI Radeon 7000 (no QE or CI). I believe this is still the situation unless someone has come up with a solution recently.
