chenws
I had just updated my iMac firmware 1.3 last night. This morning I was unable to start up windows with Boot Camp. I usually do by pressing start button and the alt (option) key together. I need help here. Thank you. Running on Mac OS X v 10.5.4 Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo I'm new here, hopefully I'm on the right thread. chenws
What happens when you "try" to boot windows? I didn't try because I don't know how rechange setting to start up Mac OS X if I had changed setting startup to boot Windows. There's nothing in the Windows OS menu to allow me to revert startup back to Mac OS, except for pressing the 'alt' button, which had now failed. Colonel
Did you install the Boot Camp drivers? If so, there should be a Startup Disk setting in Control Panel, in which you can tell your iMac to start up using Mac OS X instead of Windows. Not sure, because when I bought it had been pre-installed. Thanks for reply. I finally managed to resolve the issue and I'm able to open my windows again.
