MacNutty
I don't think bios is very important I installed Leopard without touching the bios. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/115169-bios-setup-for-leopard/#findComment-815490 Share on other sites
Suzie's Soliloquy
It's luck of the draw really; some settings and releases require you to change options, like disabling or enabling legacy support, but a few lucky people (Me included) didn't need to change anything for a successful install. Hope this helps. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/115169-bios-setup-for-leopard/#findComment-815497 Share on other sites
Mac Ninja
My advice is to disable multi-core support, and then try the setup. When you run into problems search them on the forum, and you will likely find out which settings you need to change to fix that problem. Zlash
My HDD wasn't recognized in the Mac Setup by Kalyway. I believe I have to change some BIOS settings to fix this. People have told me to enable AHCI setting with the SATA controlller [or something], but the problem is that in my Phoenix Award BIOS there is no such setting. In the SATA controller mode, there is only IDE and RAID option. I've tried booting Setup with both and still it doesn't work. So what should I do?
