pavement714
i have a 7600 go and NVkush has restored CI/QE on a vanilla 10.5.5 i am having an issue with dvd player, though, i posted about it here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=126582
ajstrobus21
I restored my graphics after updating to 10.5.5 for 2 laptops with the same following method: removed all NV* files in /system/library/Extensions removed all Ge* files in /system/library/Extensions also removed: /system/library/extensions/cache /system/library/cache system/library/extensions.mkext Then installed NVinjectGo.kext with kexthelper. Made sure there was no NVinject.kext in /system/library/extensions. Then installed NVkushinstaller.pkg & NVidia-Leopard-Graphics-Kexts.pkg & rebooted. Same exact procedure worked on both HP DV9235nr (7600go) & DV9500t (8400m GS) *still having problem w/ the new Atheros ar5bxb92 minipci-e though*
macan
start with 10.5.2 kalyway, system and update include, and instal driver for vga nvidia/ ati LATER, if you want update 10.5.3 or 10.5.4. after update oke, after that you can instal driver vga nvidia/ati. instal driver vga nvidia/ati with Efi studio, working great for me just under 5second! weldone thanks Efi studi! delete nvinjex.go or delete nvinjex.0.2.1 0r 0.2.1, start from system, library, extensions folder clik. and instal driver nvidia/ati from efi studio. and restart, done great! BuXb
I got the 7600 Go with QE/CI working in SnowLeo on my Toshi by installing into S/ L/ E (i.e. with Kext Helper or Kext Utility). It would not work from Extra/Extensions. Both, NvInject and NVEnabler32/64 work here, the latter even allows mirrored output to VGA. Kexts are attached for your convenience. PLEASE NOTE: if QE/CI do NOT work on your machine it is NOT about these kexts but something different. Probably you will have to edit some plist or even hex edit some binary from reading along the forum, but I do not know any details about that kind of stuff.
