Only if you have a Mac! ;)

You'll need to follow Netkas's or Kalyway's update, personally i like Netkas's way, remember to download the ComboUpdate then you can go from 10.5 to 10.54 in one go!

Netkas.org will show you all you need to know!

I am currently using Kalyway 10.5.2, the rest of my specs are on my profile, would it be possible to just install the update from apple or do I have to go through 10.5.3 first? I am using EFI + Vanilla Kernel.

Help Appreciated

Im in the same boat.

Do you guys have backups of your working config? I was just concerned because its easy to do if you have an extra USB drive with at least the amount of space your current mac harddrive has used.

I havent done the 10.5.4 update but I am on 10.5.2. I forgot the netkas page. Im going to try later on with my backup. THats the good thing about having a backup. you can use it as a test bed for updates.

Sadly my order for a 40gb IDE drive for my 2.5" caddy cocked up so now I have to wait a little while before I can create any kind of backup, once it comes I will then try Netkas' method. Unless of course someone tells me how to solve the blue screen issue.

I have been afraid to try to upgrade to 10.5.3 and 10.5.4 for a while now and today my fears were fully realized when I tried to do it using Netkas instructions and now can't boot my Hack. Anyone know how to rescue a mac that crashes immediately when trying to boot it every time after doing the update?
