Would it be possible to just get the data plan and then pay for "minutes over what I get for my plan" (none). If so, what would be the price? Numberzz Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 Here's what you can do: -Buy a cheapo phone from AT&T that has 3G and set up a plan that has PAYG and unlimited 3G data. (If that's possible) -Buy an iPhone and put the SIM that came with your cheepo phone into the iPhone. -You will need to activate your phone, but not with iTunes. If you have a 3G iPhone you will have to wait until a hacker figures it out. -You should be set up with a custom plan and an iPhone.
