morphin999
Hi, I installed Jas 10.4.8 on Acer 5570z-2977 and tried to activate the PC card slot to use wireless cardbus adapters, so i replaced the IOPCIFamily and IOPCCard. kext following this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=44105 When I tried to reboot the machine, i got kernel panic and it kept asking me to reboot. Since i backed up the old kext files before replacing them, I am wondering whether anybody could tell me how to restore those files. Thanks a lot. BigPimpin
Boot in single-user mode, delete the ones that don't work, copy the old ones back and reboot. Piece of cake. You're smart because you backed up the old ones. Most people don't bother and they end up having to re-install everything.
