trancephorm
Been trying for a week now to install Leopard or Tiger to Acer Aspire 5720. Kalyway gives me restart-loop, Leo4All won't install saying he can't find data, and some 10.4.11 distro gives me black screen after booting... I'm now downloading iAtkos, but I guess there are some things I should know before trying again. So here is the hardware config (not the same among all 5720's!): CPU -- Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2 GHz SSE3 supported Chipset -- Intel PM965/GM965/GL960 Crestline Southbridge -- 82801HEM (ICH8M-E) Gfx -- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 Network -- Broadcom Netlink BCM5787M gigabit ethernet -- Intel Wireless 3945ABG Firewire & Card-reader -- Ricoh What is important to me that I have responsive, stable and fast system because I'll be using it with audio programs for DJing like Traktor... I'm very dissapointed with Windows XP installation which I tweaked to the maximum, I just can't get satisfying performance. Latency is too high, there are clicks and pops when loading a song, etc etc... Really trying hard to give it a shot with OS X, please help. Jackobyte
It's overheating. Take the cover off of the back and get a fan on it, a house one will do That worked for me.....
