  1. Hi there, Sorry for the blatant advert to those in control but I am only trying to help. I have come across a stock of Belkin F5D7001UK's which are PCI wifi cards. These are great quality, great range purpose built (not dell truemobile in a mini PCI to PCI housing) and are particularly hard to come by these days. They are all brand new and can be purchased from me Worldwide on EBay. Please check the link...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BELKIN-Wireless-Wifi...9#ht_500wt_1182 I will match the best price you can find on EBay so just make me an offer :-) Sorry for the blatant advert but I am only trying to help out the community really.......
  2. 10.5.7 (9J56) and MSI WIND U-100 with GMA950

Here you go................. Hope this helps. DO_NOT_DELETE_RUN_THIS_AFTER_UPDATE.mpkg.rar
  3. Acer Aspire 5720 laptop

It's overheating. Take the cover off of the back and get a fan on it, a house one will do That worked for me.....
  4. ACER Aspire 5720 install problems

Take the back cover off of the laptop and get a house fan on the sucker...... that worked for me!
  5. So is there anyone who has had any success getting any built-in card readers to work? Just curious, cause that would be me perfectly functional if it was for that.
  6. Keyboard doesn't work

I know this is a bit of a hack and may not always be possible but I managed to get my Jas 10.5.4 install working by first installing Leo4All V2 then immediately after reboot I installed Jas 10.5.4 selecting only the essentials. Now I have a fully functional Jas 10.5.4 installation. Nt sure why this worked but I also had problems with my DW1390 not being enabled when installing straight from the Jas disk, problem was solved by the method above.
  7. Hacked PS/2 Driver :)

I got my keyboard and trackpad working by installing Leo4All V2 then on reboot immediately after install Jas 10.5.4 selecting only essentials. This sorted everything out. I'm not sure why but Leo4All seems to have the perfect PS/2 support.
  8. Not sure why but I managed to get this working on 10.5.4 I was trying to install Jas 10.5.4 on my Samsung laptop and I kept getting the dreaded "No Keyboard" stuff and also I was getting no Wi-fi which I found strange but the Jas disk was not finding my DW1390 during boot. So I went back to my Leo4All V2 disk, installed that with the correct options, then at reboot I put the Jas disk in and only selected the Jas essentials, the Stage XNU kernal and NVKush (since it was NVInject on the Leo4All). On reboot everything worked perfectly apart from the battery indicator which was solved using one of the methods i found here (can't remember which one, oh my brain!!). Hope this might help someone, I just do not know why it was not working using Jas, maybe that is designed for desktop systems or something. Still it worked really easily using the method above and i now have a perfect 10.5.4 install including throttling using Chun Nan's GenericCPU thing.

  12. Dell Wireless 1395

Lots of these for sale here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=016 Perfect fit for the MSI Wind (Advent 4211) no need to modify the standoff with this one at all!!
  13. PCWiz OS X Kernel Installer

Looking forward to the final version. They won't be moaning about a 4k zipped attachment on here.... :-) You should also get the OSx86 installer releasers to integrate this into their installers in the Utility folder, I am sure another 4k wouldn't matter to them too much.
  14. It should work with both AHCI or not. Very much depends on the motherboard.
  15. Airport won't turn on

Maybe you have a faulty card............... that one above is PCI by the way, not Mini-PCIe. I have many satisfied customers using the Dell DW 1390 and 1490 so my guess is that you have a faulty card. Return it for a replacement.
