Lenovo T520 help plz

..and I additionally tried ##### option from ######, and USB started to work, even I was able to boot from HD! Sadly, Ubuntu installation {censored}ed it up and I'm now unable to achieve it all again... Must be I've done something in some important order and was having near perfect Lion on T520i ...
3. Tried it... but it failed - there's no option where to install bootloader in 12.04 installation. After reset, OS X shows in Grub bootmenu on two places (Mac OS X 32-bit and 64-bit), but when I try to run either, there's little bit of waiting and machine just reboots...
4. Installing OS X Lion on my Thinkpad T520i was a real adventure lasting about 2 weeks, but I managed to make it boot from MBR partitioned disk, using ######'s ##### option which installed Chimera boot loader. So everything works OK in the boot process, and now I want to install Ubuntu 12.04 so I can have both systems dual-booting from HD. I see there's rEFIt program, but I suppose it works only with GPT partitions, and mine is MBR partitioned. More, I was reading people have problems with it (especially after updating Ubuntu), maybe rEFIind fork is the solution, but still I'm asking for help, don't wanna go through restoring my OS X installation afterwards... I already have a free space reserved for Ubuntu installation, is there any tested and proven method I can install Ubuntu 12.04 in my environment, so I can boot both systems from same hard disk... Thanks! I just noticed ###### in my previous message turned to ######? Why is that? Is it banned or something?? ) Please don't mind if I look stupid, I'm completely new in Mac world...

Lenovo T520 help plz

I used it and I have T520i. Intel HD 3000 graphics is working, but when I insert USB flash, it freezes telling that I must turnoff the computer. And I still can't make the system bootable from HD, tried lots of combinations...

Acer Aspire 5720 laptop

Been trying for a week now to install Leopard or Tiger to Acer Aspire 5720. Kalyway gives me restart-loop, Leo4All won't install saying he can't find data, and some 10.4.11 distro gives me black screen after booting... I'm now downloading iAtkos, but I guess there are some things I should know before trying again. So here is the hardware config (not the same among all 5720's!): CPU -- Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2 GHz SSE3 supported Chipset -- Intel PM965/GM965/GL960 Crestline Southbridge -- 82801HEM (ICH8M-E) Gfx -- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 Network -- Broadcom Netlink BCM5787M gigabit ethernet -- Intel Wireless 3945ABG Firewire & Card-reader -- Ricoh What is important to me that I have responsive, stable and fast system because I'll be using it with audio programs for DJing like Traktor... I'm very dissapointed with Windows XP installation which I tweaked to the maximum, I just can't get satisfying performance. Latency is too high, there are clicks and pops when loading a song, etc etc... Really trying hard to give it a shot with OS X, please help.

Acer Laptop users (Intel).

I see this is kind of complication... Anyone got some hints installing Leopard or Tiger on Acer Aspire 5720 (C2D, ATI HD 2600, AHCI controller, Broadcom LAN....)
