c_c Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 Assuming you have backed up the older Dock.app (from 10.5.3) replace the 10.5.4 version of Dock with the older one. preskush Posted July 15, 2008 Share Posted July 15, 2008 Hey c_c i tried that but it didn't work. I replaced the Dock and the Finder with the older versions from 10.5.3 and I got background but no dock. Also, when I try to start an app it just freezes and gives some sort of java related error in the report. Any one with any big ideas? c_c Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 How did you replace the Dock ? You'll need to boot into single user mode with -s and then replace the files. Or use the install DVD with terminal. This worked for me. There is a similar thread at infinitemac. Try going through it if you cant find any solution.
