guruk
hi, i installed now osx iatkos 1.01i for the 15th time always when something crash, for example last was it a nvidia driver i dont know another solution than to install completely new. what can i do without install new. i saw something like the option -s when i startup from darwin. but how and where for example to delete the last updates. i thought -x will start in safe mode. but in that case with the update with nvinstaller v.52 it still hangs while booting any help to safe me always reinstalling would be fine thanks chris Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113714-fix-problems-without-new-installation/ Share on other sites
grendelkhan
what updates do you want to remove? the nvinject? booting with -s at the darwin bootloader should get you into safe mode, then you can mount your hard drive (it will tell you how to do this), then rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext You should use EFI Studio to add a bootstring for your video card instead, much better and no crashes.
