fend3r Posted August 25, 2005 Share Posted August 25, 2005 Hey guys I purchased an athlon 64 3200 CPU cause I was told it has SSE3 instructions from many people but according to the CPU-Z app it says I have SSE2...... is there any chance it could be wrong or something. Is it worth installing on SSE2 I mean does it run acceptable in native? can someone tell me what I miss out on specificly if I run SSE2 pls. Someone put together a patch to emulate the SSE3 instructions, so you wouldn't be missing out on anything, except maybe a small hit in performance... you probably won't know the difference though.
