The Minstrel
I had this problem and I solved it basically by trial and error. Do a fresh install and go through the kernels and drivers until it works. magnat2
leo4all will restart over and over againThe Minstrel - can you tell me the way to try what you are saying please? I`ve had the exact same problem that you, solution? Removed the hard drive from my laptop and placed the hard drive in a HP laptop, installed Mac OS x Leopard in my hard drive in the HP laptop and once installed switched the hard drive back to my laptop, then runs great:) Is important to choose the right drivers and patches in customize area!!! Still today when i have to reinstall i have to do this the same way, in my laptop at the boot of the install disk simply reboots... Gujal
Did you try Leo4all v3? This should work on your motherboard as it has a modified AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext that supports your motherboard's ICH7 in IDE or AHCI mode Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113116-cant-install-help-needed/#findComment-802341 Share on other sites

cense
Mount the image, delete IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext in /System/Library, then run the ADD_KEXT_TO_DVD script in Kalyway. This will clear the kext cache. Eject the volume, burn it, and you're good. Got it working on my brand new M8430F. This is what someone said would work. They had the same problem as GalBrill (And I) Had. I mounted it but didn't see system/library.
