DJ Plan B
I'm selling a home built PC tower for $1600. I built it a couple months ago, but now I'm moving, and I need the cash. Specs are: All parts were purchased at Microcenter in April of 08, so they are all retail and have manufacturers' warranties. Intel Q6600 2.4GHz quad-core processor OC'ed to 3.06 GHz running fully stable. Zalman CNPS9500A LED CPU heatsink Corsair XMS2 4gb DDR RAM Asus Maximus Formula Mobo - Intel X38/ICH9R; PCI-e 2.0; up to 1600 mhz FSB; supports ATI CROSSFIRE; 10 USB 2.0 ports; 3 1394 ports; 2 Gigabit ethernet ports; Built-in hi-def sound card with optical and SPDIF outs E-VGA 8800 GTS 650Mhz 512MB video card (dual DVI outs) 500gb Western Digital Caviar Sata hdd Toshiba IDE DVD-/+RW (this is the only OEM part) Gigabyte Odin Pro 550w power supply Cooler Master tower w/ 3 120mm case fans Logitech S510 wireless keyboard and mouse combo (bought with above components) Samsung 2232w 22" widescreen monitor (bought from Best Buy in May of 08) Accessories: Epson R260 Inkjet printer (bought in February from Best Buy) Apple Airport Extreme base station - 802.11n wireless router (bought from Apple in December 07) Klipsch Pro Media 2.0 desktop speakers (bought from Apple in September 07) this thing will run everything you throw at it. Currently running Kalyway 10.5.2 for testing purposes w/o any problems. I can put Windows XP or Vista Home Premium on here if you wish. Everything comes with manuals, driver CDs, and all necessary / supplied cables. I'm not going to part out individual components because I'd really like to sell this system as a whole. I'm willing to take offers as long as they're reasonable. Please don't low-ball me. I'd prefer a local pick-up but will ship it nationally if there is a dedicated buyer. vaporATX
Good luck selling at those prices. The parts are used. I could build that same system with used parts from Craigslist and eBay for well under a grand. Nice system, though. Just ain't worth what you think. If you want resale value buy a real Mac next time. Is, the Q6600 G0 stepped? If so I'll give you $80 for it.

Andy Machead
Your joking right? Even used, any Q6600 is well worth $140+ USD. A used one? I wouldn't be so sure about that... my Q6600 boxed brand new with heat sink and fan just came in the mail the other day and I got it for $150, thats new. These things drop in value the second you get em. Unfortunately.
