Styxie
Hi there, I finally managed to install iATKOS and to get it to Darwin. I feel as though I'm nearly there, I just need to figure this out. As soon as Darwin gets up, I press a button and add -v to the boot. Then I get: Loading kernel mach-kernel ... Loading HFS+ file: [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 4238270. There are 4 lines in between, but after this line (which is the same as the second to last line) my systeem immediately reboots. I've tried the -f, -x and platform=x86pc arguments, but they don't help me. Does anyone know what I should do? I can provide a video if need be. Styxie
When I type "-f -v -x -s" at the boot prompt, it show me a lot of lines, ending in "calibation failed with 2 attempts" (calibation is spelled like that). I've searched the forums for that, but couldn't find anything helpful.
zhufy1025
i had your likely thinys when install iatkos, you can format the part again and try to reinstall ps: first you will set the part which you install in active you can use fdisk -e /dev/rsisk* ----*is your HD
Styxie
Won't that screw up my setup? Because my active (boot) HDD needs to be my 500 GB drive, so if I set the 60 GB drive to active, that means my computer will boot that drive right (which isn't what I want). I've already tried a reinstall, but it didn't work.
