pritthish
I recently installed OS 10.5.2 on my Inspiron 1525.However, a few hours ago i plugged in my laptop to my 19" dell monitor and turned on monitor mirroring, and the screen was scrambled. I unplugged the ext monitor and rebooted... But now whenever i plug it in, it gets scrambled. (note, ive since found out that monitor mirroring doesnt work on the kalaway 10.5.2 ...) can anyone tell me how i can turn this off so that next time i plug in the ext monitor, leopard wont try to mirror?? [id really hate to have to reinstall the OS... :S ]
mulletman13
Hey hey! I had the same exact problem a couple of days ago... after a bit of searching (after about an hour or so) I found the following: http://eruvia.org/software/osxmirroring/ Follow the instructions exactly or it will not work. I opened up Terminal, typed in the command (path followed by mirroring off), connected the display and then hit enter once everything was all garbled. Got screen spanning back and everything was right again
