penguinosx
How exactly do you use the cmd and option mac keys with a standard pc keyboard? I see no option or cmd buttons on my keyboard. Is there a way you could substitute another key (like the windows key)?
princeofdarkness135
They are already mapped to what Mac uses. OS X's shortcuts, however, are slightly different than windows or linux, ctrl-c is now cmd-c, you can switch around the modifier keys in keyboard options though, which does help on that. Just look at a Mac keyboard (or picture of) to see which corresponds to which, what the software sees is what's on the mac keyboard, So the windows key is now command, alt is option i believe and ctrl is still control
Gujal
By Default, Control and Shift keys are the same. Regarding the other two keys, On a PS2 Keyboard Alt = Command "Windows" = Option On a USB Keyboard "Windows" = Command Alt = Option You can change the default behaviour through remapping keys in System Preferences
