xiberia Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Since I can't use my DMX6fire, I have to use the AC97 built into my mobo. However, its verrryyy quiet. I've put the level right up on the taskbar, gone into "Applications/Utilities/Audio midi setup" and set the volume up full in there. The volume is also up full in iTunes. But its still very quiet. eg I would set the level on my speakers to 3 in XP and it would be loud. To get the same volume in OSX I have to set my speakers up on 8-9. Its no big problem really, I was just wondering. Is this an error with the Ac97.kext or just a fact of Mac life?
