foodfightr
I can't boot after upgrading to 10.5.3 and realized I need to change /system/installatstartup/scripts/1 to reflect dsmos.kext. The problem is that I can't get it to boot with -s. I've tried the OS X install cd terminal which DOESNT have pico or nano! I even tried a kunbuntu cd but was only able to mount HFS+ as read only. I need to get write access with pico or nano somehow in order to fix my system.. please help!
zeamp
Pull the drive out and slave it on a working, bootable machine to edit your drive. Windows? Get MacDrive (free trial): http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/

jivhg
As I suggested on uphuck: Go on kubuntu and copy the file. Edit, and save to a flash drive. Copy it to your install with terminal in the iAtkos CD Hope this helps
