Apple Freak Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 I've searched all the forums, but I still can't find a good kext for x1600 Pro with DeviceID of: 0x71c2 I only got once the old Natit, which I edited myself to fit my configuration, but the only problem is this: QE/CI is not working! Causing my iTunes Cover Flow and Time Machine animation not working, but Quick Look still works (weird?) Somebody please provide me some advice or links that leads to my solution Thank you very much P.S. RxSx Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 After hours and hours of experimenting, I finally got mine working. I have an ASUS PCIe 71c2 and used a combination of dionysossss', Borisbadenov's and shay.bc's method to have resolution changing and QE/CI enabled. Dion's kexts got me resolution changing (with onscreen garbage). Shay.bc's EDID information got rid of the onscreen garbage. It took a lot of trial and error, but tweaking the Boris method finally enabled QE/CI.
