1. [GUIDE] Installing Lion DP4 + GM Without USB(Video)

Thanks to the help of various folks, I was able to get the Lion installer to allow me to install, and the install completed successfully. However, I can't boot. Using -v, the system gets stuck repeatedly at the same point "waiting for DSMOS" (sorry for the screenshot, but I figure it's the best way). Any ideas?
2. [GUIDE] Installing Lion DP4 + GM Without USB(Video)

I've got a very strange problem-I've got the installer booted fine off the flash drive, but at the initial language selection screen (with the animated text), I'm unable to continue. My cursor is moving fine, but I cannot scroll in the box or click the continue button. Any thoughts? Edit: turns out the click was registering, albeit very slowly. Now I have the message - "Mac OS X cannot be installed on this computer." I have a DSDT for my motherboard, the Gigabyte P35-DS3L. I also have the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, because if I don't, the system kernel panics right as it tries to start.
3. Hello, I'm trying to get my TL-WN851N wireless card with Atheros chipset to work in 10.6.4. It's on the HCL list so I'm wondering why I can't get it to work. Is there a certain kext that needs to be used?
4. Okay guys, I've been searching, sticky-reading, FAQ'ing like mad all over the place but I'm having trouble getting anything to work with my configuration: ASRock P55M Pro 8GB DDR3-1066 Intel Core i3-530 ATI Radeon 4350 512MB 1x WD 250GB SATA, 2x WD 1TB Sata The first thing I tried to do was install plain Vanilla with ##### and ##### from TonyMac86 website. With ##### Supported, I can get it to install, but only in safe mode. Running ##### still does not allow it to boot on its own. If I try to use the ##### ATI, I can't get it to install in regular or safe mode (the OSX gray splash screen pops up for a second and then goes away). Next, I downloaded SnowOSX Universal and iATKOS S3 v2. Both discs don't seem to want to start up, they both flash the OSX splash screen for a second and then reset the PC). What am I missing? To me this clearly seems like a graphics issue, but I know that there are dozens of successful people running configs similar to mine, with ATI 4350's, P55 mobos, etc. Any help would be hugely appreciated! This isn't my first time with OSX86 but it's my first time with Snow Leopard and things are getting mighty complicated.
5. Running Mac OS X Leopard on Voodoo Envy 133

Oh right I seem to remember having that issue with the same WiFi on my HP pavillion. Where can I check the status on that driver? 2 to 3 months won't be a problem as school doesn't start till August and I can still use Windows for this year. Everything else should be good to go then? Any problems with bluetooth or HP webcams?
6. Today I recieved some bad news: my school wants to switch to all Macs. Luckily I have until the 2010-2011 school year to switch, so using my awesome Envy 133 for this year will not be a problem. Still, I want to avoid purchasing a Mac at all costs, and I'm wondering if anyone has had any success or failures at installing Mac OS X on the Envy. I will be trying out a copy of iDeneb, iAtkos, or another distro soon but I wanted to find out first if drivers (i.e. bluetooth, audio, WiFi, etc.) will work. I figure the Intel audio and Wireless are probably pretty standard, but I wanted to check here. Bluetooth would be nice, I'm figuring the webcam is pretty unlikely unless some HP driver works. The hardware is as follows: Intel Core 2 Duo P7700 1.8Ghz Intel Mobile 965 Chipset 2 GB DDR2-667 RAM Intel GMA 3100 Graphics (1280x800 LCD) Intel 4965 AGN Wifi Broadcom 2045 Bluetooth Realtek/Intel onboard audio (not quite sure, both show up in Vista Device Manager). Thanks in advance.
7. QuickTime 7.5 in Software Update

Couldn't agree more. But any ideas on a fix?
8. QuickTime 7.5 in Software Update

Installed Quicktime 7.5 update, and now my Kalyway 10.5.3 installation won't boot!!! After installing kaly's 10.5.3 update i had to fix the nvinject by using this method: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...c=107899&hl= I also installed Quicktime 7.5 before rebooting. Now it won't boot! The first 2 times I got a kernal panic, now when I start using -v it always stops saying "No network stack object." Anyone know what the problem is? Was it Quicktime 7.5 or the NVinject fix? Please help if you can! Thanks.
9. No ATI Radeon x1600 Pro users?

Could you tell me exactly what I did? I've tried everything it seems, yet I still can't get anything to work. My card is a GeCube X1600 Pro PCI-E 256 MB with dual DVI My installation is Leo4Allv3 Thanks a lot
10. ATI Radeon X1600 PCIE-Blank screen after driver install

Please someone out there who got their X1600 Pro to work...perhaps you could give me a hand. I'll be forever grateful, I needed this for a project and if you could help that would be fantastic.
11. ATI Radeon X1600 PCIE-Blank screen after driver install

I tried connecting my monitor with a DVI to VGA adapter instead. Now, after installing the drivers rebooting, it gets stuck at the last command line "AirPort: Link up on en1." This is what I see each time before the Login screen. With DVI, the screen would flash blue after this and then turn off. Now, it never gets to that point. Any other thoughts? I looked into Natit, but I'm not sure how that installation works, so some pointers in that area might help. Thanks.
12. No ATI Radeon x1600 Pro users?

Same with me: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=107919 My card has 2 DVI and no VGA, so I don't know if a DVI to VGA adapter will work. I'm not at home right now, but I'll try it when I get home.
13. ATI Radeon X1600 PCIE-Blank screen after driver install

Thanks, I'll try that. But is there any way to use DVI with this card in Leopard? I use Linux and Windows as well, so it might be a hassle to have both connections. But as long as it allows me to run at 1680x1050, that will be fine. Also, my card has 2 DVI connectors, it does not have an onboard VGA. Will using a DVI to VGA adapter accomplish the same thing?
14. I've looked everywhere and tried many different install methods to try to get my ATI Radeon X1600 Pro PCIE (device ID: 0x71c2) to work with Leopard (Leo4All, 10.5.2). After every install, after the command line processes are finished, there is a brief blue flash after which my LCD goes into standby. I've waited over 10 minutes and the monitor never comes back on. In order to get back into Leopard, I have to boot with the -s switch and then use rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/ATI* This allows me to boot back into Leopard, which has no QE or CI and only runs at 1024x768. The Login screen does work, but there is no gray loading screen, just command line processes show during boot. Anything I might have overlooked? I look forward to some help.
15. Kalyway 10.5.2-Installation won't boot

I've tried a few other things, but no avail. I've tried the following switches at the boot menu: maxmem=2048 cpus=1 -x -f None seem to work. It occassionally pauses at a different location, but none seem to finish booting. Thanks in advance. I'm looking forward to some expert help.
