macdell Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Install 10.4.4 om my Dell 700M lappy, almost everything works. intel pentium M 725 1.8G Dell 1350 wireless works Broadcom 440 ethernet works AC97 sound card sigmtel works out of box. 1024X768 sucks. Firewire worked. after i modified the IONetworking kext file. it died. never tested modem, who cares. basiclly that is it. sorry, My bad. Please PLEASE tell me how you did it. I'm installed the 10.4.4 w/ 10.4.5 patched install dvd. Any advice would be much appreciated. Now i am dell700m. load the appleairportbrcm4311.kext, and you r all set. you can find this kext file in appleairport2.kext/contents/plugins/. if you can not find it. i can send u one. good luck. Thanks for the response, but I already got it working. I have a quick and easy guide w/ the patched IO80211family.kext file.
