Can be replaced for $300-400 dollars from many only specialists. A little googling will get you a long way on this. Oh, this laptop also runs a particular OS that this forum likes... just fine. I have an extra Dell wifi mini pci card that is not installed, but compatible with the installed OS. TrackPoint with Fingerprint Reader Built in Verizon broadband card Thinkpad Ultrabase w/ DVD Recorder Thinkpad High Capacity 8 cell battery Bluetooth XP Professional license This laptop new, is about $2,400 straight from Lenovo. You'd be lucky to fetch $500 for that thing.
