xLitsx Posted May 31, 2008 Share Posted May 31, 2008 Im pretty sure this is an easy fix, but everytime I reboot my home folder pops open... its annyoing to have to close it everytime is there anyway to disable it from opening during startup? shaybc Posted May 31, 2008 Share Posted May 31, 2008 when shutting down make sure all folders are closed, since osx can remember the last opened folders, maybe you are shutting down improperly and that is why the folder close state never register. another option is to check Login items under accounts in the system preferences, make sure there is no folder or finder shortcut there that can cause this. also look in folders: LaunchAgents, StartupItems, LaunchDaemons that can be found in: /System/Library, /Library, ~ (user home folder) make sure there isn't any script planted by third party you installed. for further digging goto your console and check the log, hope this helps, Shay.
