There are a few threads but some are aimed at people who know what they are doing and such. As far as I can see, is there a sticky for help with 10.5.3 and the posts for that are thin on the ground as well. No seriously, really thanks for the constructive comments and help from a self professed noob, who incidentally has 10.5.2 running just fine and is looking for feedback on how to install the 10.5.3 update as looking at teh forums its not as simple as running software update. I jumped straight into the osx installation area and not into the tutorial area so apologies for a freaking mistake. Also i noticed that people are having problems with QE and such, seeing as I was "lucky" enough to have a nvidia card that worked out the box i just wated all bases covered before attempting the update...being a noob and all.
