Racer23
I was wondering if you have XP on one physical drive and then OSX on another physical drive if you are able to share files between both opperating system inside the same box. I would image that it would work fine just like a mac netwroked to a PC right? NotMeAgain
OS X will be able to read your XP drive, but not writeXP will not read or write your OS X drive Xp can write to OSX disks, Find a program called Transmac, but it may only allow you to view your primary HFS+ partition. If you set up a swap partition and format it as Fat32 both drives will be able to acces/read/write that partition but fat32 don't allow files over something like 3gb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10727-sharing-between-drives/#findComment-67383 Share on other sites
marliwahoo
I use a swap drive. It is a fat 32 format primary partition. Both OS's can read and write to it. It has all my documents and media files. They can reside in one location and be used by both OS's. I believe it has a 4 gig file size limit.
