Jonty! Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 Hey Just installed leo4all v3 and I selected Intel GMAX3100. When i boot (where it should be the welcome video and setup thing) I get a white/grey screen and it just stays on that. I can boot into the install DVD fine, so is there a way to get it working? I found if I plugged in an external monitor the white went away but it went back to these lines. If you want photos of other bits of the screen just ask please! You might want to try iATKOS v1r2 and see if you have better luck. 00diabolic Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 There are 2 solutions to x3100 graphics. 1 involves a simple natit.kext to inject (aka use) the vanilla OSX frame buffers & works for about 70% of x3100 users. The second involves using none vanilla frame buffers. Leo4all includes the none vanilla frame buffers solution and not the natit injector to use the vanilla ones. That is what you need and iatkos as well as kalyway 10.5.2 (i believe) have it. Otherwise take a crash course in learning the terminal to copy the vanilla frame buffers back as well as paulicats natit injector. I haven't seen V2 work for x1300 users yet but who knows maybe it will for you on your system. iATKOS v1r2 seems to work the best and can be easily upgraded to 10.5.2 with the Kalyway combo updater. Oh and when I try and boot vista I get Winload.exe is corrupt or missing! So I am OS-less! Someone try and help me please EDIT: Leo4All had most compatible stuff (bootloader worked, sound worked WITH my volume wheel, Wireless even before install, except graphics) So if we can try and get Leo4All working? You need to use diskpart to activate it and then you can repair. Currently your OSX partition is active. Like I said before you should get kalyway 10.5.2 as it has paulicats natit. That is what you need. Either that OR learn some terminal. Did you really think installing an OS that was not ment for your computer would be easy. If it was that easy we would not be talking here now would we.
