Suzie's Soliloquy
I realise this is an unusual request as many people dislike the Brushed Metal interface in Tiger, but is there a way to get the same (If not similar) effect in Leopard? Thanks
razerbug
I'd like to see this too took me a while to realise what the nagging difference was between tiger at work and leopard at home, couldn't put my finger on it for the longest time.
F.N.H
To get brushed metal back, type this in terminal : defaults write -g AppleUseCoreUI -bool NO on the second line type: defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSUseLeopardWindowValues NO enjoy!!!! I am running 10.5.5 and with these commands I cannot seem to make for example Safari appear just like Tiger (Brushed Metal). Are you sure this works? F.N.H
Well, I tried that in 10.5.3 and it worked. How ever, once I ran software update, it did not work in 10.5.5 ,as only the light unified is there. Sorry, F.N.H
