    Bootloader/patcher for real Mac

Thank you so much for your reply! QuickESP on Github is not complete, I tried starting it from scratch, and never finished, I think I am going to open source the original version quite soon. And many thanks for the nice words. On Clover side, well, I tried installing Clover on an empty APFS flash disk and unfortunately while I can select to UEFI boot it from the original EFI Mac menu (holding down option key), I wasn't able to reach the Clover menu. Any ideas? Will need to investigate further.
  2. I was wondering if there's a Bootloader or any generic Patcher that runs on a real Mac? Specifically, I would like to be able patch a couple of Kexts on the fly, change values on their respective .plist properties. Any ideas? I would be very grateful.

  4. Doesn't work for me either. Any solution for RX480 (HDMI 2.0) to a Samsung 4K TV? EDIT: The alternative method using "FixEDID" and "DarwinDumper" works like a charm.
  5. There's an option: brcmfx-country=XX For full documentation check: https://github.com/acidanthera/AirportBrcmFixup Nevermind, just understood what you're trying to do.

Until I send the config.plist, let's rule out the following: HDMI cable is High Speed with Ethernet (capable of 10GBps+)? EDIT: Look at this: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-3629459/60hz-2160p-hdmi-connection.html At some point it says: I'm sorry everyone. I found my answer quite shortly after posting this thread. On the LG 27UD88-W, there is a menu option called "HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color".

Nothing of the sort... Just Whatevergreen + Lilu for that matter. I will send the config.plist as soon as I get home. Since I don't know what you are trying to achieve, do you have a 4k @ 60hz TV or monitor and you want to utilize HDMI 2.0 instead of DisplayPort?

Hello! I am not at home at the moment, so please try to add both flags on the Boot Flags entry of config.plist (preferably with Clover Configurator for your convenience): -cdfon -enable-hdmi20

Mojave V-Sync makes UI feel laggy

How do you get this window? I would like to try as well.

I activated 4k @ 60hz on RX480 over HDMI 2.0 with the -cdfon parameter. Before that I had a DP 1.2 convertor to HDMI 2.0 connected to remedy the issue.

Thanks for the support, just released a version that fixes administration privileges. Also compatible with macOS Mojave.
  13. I used to get this repeated procedure in a previous version, when I had not updated "apfs.efi" to the latest version.
  14. First two steps looks proper. About the 3rd one, it is correct to insert the USB, yes. You do not see your finalized HD to continue booting from? What choices do you have?
  15. First of all congratulations for getting this far. Actually, this is correct you don't have a bootloader until you install Clover on your main HD. But in order to do so, keep your installation USB plugged in (because it has the Clover bootloader), and select your finalized HD which now contains macOS. Once you have booted into your main HD, follow the rest of the steps.
