kay188
I just installed Leo4All v3 10.5.1. When the installer rebooted, I get the darwin boot loader timeout. Then when the timeout is finished, i get some sort of verbose diagnostic boot screen. It's like windows booting into safe mode XP/Vista loading all the drivers. Not sure what it's called. Everything Leopard works fine once it's finished booting, but i'm just wondering How can i get the Grey Apple boot screen? And why does it boot like it's loading all the drivers? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/105444-leo4all-v3-installed-perfectly-no-grey-apple-boot-screen/ Share on other sites
jivhg
This is usually because the -v thing was added in advanced options. Do you always do "-v"? bhst2
go to /library/preferences/systemconfiguration look for the file com.apple.boot.plist open it with bbedit and remove the -v and you will get the apple screen again Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/105444-leo4all-v3-installed-perfectly-no-grey-apple-boot-screen/#findComment-750045 Share on other sites

Redliner
This is usually because the -v thing was added in advanced options. Do you always do "-v"? actually eddie added it so that people could see what was giving them errors, then we could remove it once everything was stable.
