inquisitor06
Hi all, I've got Toshiba Laptop (Qosmio G15-AV501-R) that has a nVidia GeForce Go 6600 dedicated graphics card on. I've tried Natit, NvInject and ID strings to make the card to run at the native resolution. Have I missed some obscure way of making it work at it's native resolution (1440x900)? Additionally, I've only been able to successfully implement the the resolution mod: For system specs, see here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=104083

inquisitor06
That would help immensely. How did you get it work? When I've installed nvinjectgo it wouldn't boot. Could you outline how you got it to work? Thanks!
kc78
hi, i installed kallyway 10.5.1 sse2 efi/mbr (because of tripple boot with win2003 and xp) without vanilla kernel and only with the nvinjectgo driver and after restart it worked perfect. then updated to 10.5.2 and the 0.2.0 nvinjectgo and univ. kernel 9.2.0 and also no problems. updated all apple updates except grafics and timemachine update and no problems. i didn't need to change anything in my bios. the only problem is the dual view. only one works either vga out or internal lcd, tested with an 32" pana lcd tv. could it be a problem with the bios of the card??? i have seen another bios version for this card from asus but i don't need to change because it worked. ps: build in lcd panel is an lg philips 17" glare type if it is important

Kernel Panics at Intel82557: Self test failed Thanks for help, though.
