Wizi
Hi! I am a happy new owner of an old PowerBook G4 (model id: powerbook5,6) 15" 1.5GHz and just after I completed the Leopard 10.5.2 installation and updates I decided to install one of my favorite widgets the iStat Pro. Then I was pretty shocked to see that no fan is running at all or at least the widget says so: the rear and right exhaust are displaying 0rpm. Is that normal for that model + iStat (witch would very surprise me) or I shall be worried? Actually I'm hearing something, but can't be 100% sure if it's a fan or just the disk drive... The system is running just fine for some hours thou. Thanks in advance!
Chest12
Download G4FanControl and change the threshold to its lowest and see if its the fan or whether its threshold was just to high. if u click on the link that i have supplied then you can download it with out paying for it as its V0.5 not 0.6 D.
