Hi all.

I´ve got a questrion:

I´ve got One HDD, tree partitions

Part. 1: Windows XP

Part. 2: Empty

Part. 3: Files

I´ve got JaS OsX86 10.5.2 Intel SSE2 SSE3.iso on a DVD.

Can I install this on the empty partition without losing information on Part.1 and 3.?

Thanx in advance!

yup it is possible. I am currently dual booting leopard with XP. Mac is on a 15 GB partition and there are 4 NTFS partitions. Windows partition is primary and Leopard partition is also primary. BTW it's SATAII

Nice!

But can I chose with partition I can install OS X? "as easy as in Windows XP install-program" ?

Do I have to delete the 2:nd partion? (It´s emtpy but formated in NTFS at the moment) So it´s unformated?

Someone just asked the similar question. Difference is that he install OsX first. Basically either way will work. I use Acronis to switch arround during the installation of different OS.

Just set Active the partition you going to install to. And yes, it is as easy as you did in Windows.

Hope this help.
