When I boot the system it starts up and then during the grey screen the spinning icon just keeps on spinning. I am pretty sure my processor does not support sse3 its a 1.3 gig amd. on a via chipset. Yes, Yes I know its not an intel setup. I had to disable usb in the bios. I can get into single user mode by using the -s switch but if I try -v i get this error. does any one have any ideas because I can get to the system. through command.

/etc/rc: line 232: 26 Illegal instruction kextd

/etc/rc: line 233: 27 Illegal instruction kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTPMACPI.kext/

/etc/rc: line 253: 29 Illegal instruction /usr/libexec/FirewallTool

/etc/rc: line 256: 30 Illegal instruction /usr/libexec/register_mach_bootstrap_servers /etc/mach_init.d

/etc/rc: line 262: 31 Illegal instruction /Launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons /System/Library/LaunchDaemons

/etc/rc: line 262: 32 Illegal instruction SystemStarter ${VerboseFlag}

/etc/rc: line 264: 33 Illegal instruction /usr/sbin/update

Thanks in advanced..... :P

you guys might need to check your proceser out properly.

goto www.cpuid.org and download the latest version of cpuid.

once you have downloaded it unzip it and run CPUID

if you cant see SSE2 or SSE3 then you wont be able to install OSX86 at all!

i have the exact same problem with a amd xp 2200+ (barton), i know it has SSE2, maybe the error is in the mobo? (nforce 2 - abit nf7s)
