mitch_de
I, i will use that MSI P965 NEO-F Board soon. I used ASUS with 945 Chipset since 1 Year, but no C2D support. I read about some Problems with dual core usage , so some people must deaktivate one core with CPUS=1 as kernel option. Has someone that Board with an Dual Core CPU ? Use someone that special kaby bios patches for that board (if it has problems and if such an biospatched version exist). Nuno Ferreira
Hi, Try using a MSI P35 NEO F instead (if you can). I am using a MSI P35 NEO - F. This motherboard does not support any OSX86 release out of the box. Kabyl was very kind to modify the BIOS file I sent him. If you are able to get a MSI P35 NEO - F then you can use this moded BIOS. MSI P35 NEO F Modified BIOS (By Kabyl). Use this file at your own risk. I tried it with my MSI board and works great. There are a few things that don't work, like IDE and Audio IN. Evrything else works quite good. I have an Intel E8200 Core 2 CPU and it is correctly detected. Hope this helps. kmare
I've been running OSX on and off with the board since 10.4.6. I'm now on Core2Duo 10.5.5 with 8800GT and 30" Cinema display. Install is very easy with 10.5.4 Kalyway and works out of the box. It is rock solid, the only feature missing is S3 sleep, which hasn't worked on any osx version. If you do get sleep going let me know your setup! Guys the P35 is a completely different chipset to the P965!!
