nylock10
To install the Mac OS X 10.4.4 DVD Image on my computer, should I make a 30GB FAT32 partition, burn the file to a DVD, boot it up and install from there, will that work? And if I go to "System Update" (name is probably wrong cannot remember what it is) System Preferences in 10.4.4, can I update to 10.4.5 from there? Thanks in advance. Eggman
A FAT32 partition wouldn't work. FAT32 only supports up to 4GB files; the DVD is 4.7. You either need to follow the instructions on Maxxuss's page or else find our Chinese friends who can give you a 10.4.4 bootable patch. And once you have 10.4.4, you can't just use Software Update to upgrade to 10.4.5. You need to find Maxxuss's instructions for that too. nylock10
Ahh.. Using Maxxuss's way requires 10.4.3, right? I really don't want to download more.. Does anyone have a 10.4.4 boot patch around here because I don't speak Chinese (no offense)?
