MasterBeta
Hi, I just installed Kalyway's AMD 10.5.2 and have noticed a big issue. My mouse is super-sensitive! I went into the preferences and turned Tracking Speed as low as possible and it's still much more sensitive than I like. How can I remedy this? Thanks! MasterBeta
USB Overdrive doesn't seem to work for 10.5.2, and I don't know if this would matter, but my mouse is not USB-based, it's a PS2 mouse. vaporATX
It works fine with 10.5.2, but you're right about it not working with PS/2 mice. Maybe get a USB mouse and join the 21st century. (jk) Sorry, I haven't a clue. Never used PS/2 anything on a hack. MasterBeta
Well, this isn't too big of an issue I suppose, because I *had* a USB mouse, but that's broken (the left mouse button can't drag, and a lot of times when I click it double-clicks. It's a hardware issue) so I'm using this other mouse as backup until I buy a new mouse. But that might not be for a few days and this supersensitivity is making the computer really difficult to use. Wenle Z.
i have the same issue, but mine is a laptop, with both track pointer and a touch pad. They both are too sensitive, and even at the lowest speed. I think these are PS2 because they will not work if i don't choose the PS2 driver from the Idenb 10.5.4 DVD. Also, it's not smooth. It has chopping like movement. But all these are solve if i connect a USB mouse. Any way to fix this?
