TKiet
I have used Kalyway's 10.5.2 install on my P5K-E, everything works great! I admit, but I was just wondering why the Number of Processors says 0, and the total number of cores says 1. Under my About this Mac, it details my processor, but aside of that the RAM says 800MHz while it's supposed to be 1066MHz. Anybody know why? P.S., I have searched the forum, but I couldn't find answers to my problem. insaneSOJO
Try Mac.nub's AppleSMBIOS.kext -May not fix all your problems, but you can configure your 'About This Mac' section as well as some other info. http://my.macdotnub.info/content/view/15/28/ >iSOJO Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/101567-any-fix-for-number-of-processors-actual-memory-speed-and-total-number-of-cores/#findComment-725481 Share on other sites
TKiet
thanks iSOJO, hmm but it's weird that after I've installed this AppleSMBIOS.kext I've been having hang issues now, time and again. Unless I was supposed to do something else with Mac.nub's AppleSMBIOS.kext? Gujal
I read somewhere that Kalyway 10.5.2 added cpus=1 flag by default. Locate com.apple.Boot.plist file and look for that flag. If it is there just remove it and reboot.
