drummania
Hi. I have a Intel GMA 900 onboard graphics card. In 10.4.3(w/Jas patch) I was able to change the resolution to 1680x1050 but as I upgraded to 10.4.5 it doesn't let me any more. In the system profiler I can see QE & CI supported. Am I missing some drivers? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10133-1045-resolution-problem/ Share on other sites

Maximuss
Use AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext from 10.4.4 and repair permisions I did this but it wasn't working. So i did the following: 1. Replaced the following kexts (From a working 10.4.3 installation) /System/Library/Extensions with the 10.4.4 kexts of which i made a backup of /System/Library/AppleIntel915.kext /System/Library/AppleIntel915GA.plugin /System/Library/AppleIntel915GLDriver.bundle /System/Library/AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext (if u followed maxxuss' instructions the location should be in the root of your 10.4.4 install : /backup-10.4.4 ) 2. Repaired Permissions and rebooted now i can change my resolution the normal way hopes this will solve your problem, it did for me ! mick101
I checked the extension files in my backup folder of 10.4.4 and they look exactly the same as the ones in my 10.4.5 (size, version) except date. Can someone post the version of the extension that have worked for them? And is there a way for me to extract these files from the Restore 10.4.4 DVD?
